We're currently testing nukeWYSIWYG(tm) 2.6, featuring FCKeditor 2.6. Features include:

(new) Floating dialogs to avoid problems with popup blockers & enhance usability
(new) Toolbar includes a button for Blockquote
(new) Table's columns size can now be changed by dragging on cell borders
(new) "Show Blocks" command button in toolbar to show block details in the editing area.
(improved) Official compatibility support with Opera 9.50 and Safari 3
(improved) XHTML compliance
(improved) allow image for non-admins, uploads are secured to admins only
(improved) "Merge Down/Right" for merging tables cells in non-Gecko browsers.
(improved) Find and Replace dialogs are now unified into a single dialog with tabs.

Update: nukePIE 1.1.1

nukePIE™ is a replacement for the standard PHPNuke block feed reader.

Version 1.1.1 includes SimplePie 1.1.1, which resolves problems with RSS 1.0 / RDF feeds.

With nukePIE™, RavenNuke, BonusNuke, DadaNuke, NukeEvolution, Nuke Platinum and other PHP-Nuke distributions can:

Correctly display RSS 2.0, ATOM 1.0, or any properly-formed feed in Nuke blocks
Display feed item descriptions as either full-HTML tool tips or as title tags for the link, which helps visitors and search engines

nukePIE™ performs the opposite function of nukeFEED™: nukeFEED™ generates feeds from PHP-Nuke content, and nukePIE™ consumes (or reads) feeds from any source. nukePIE™ uses the SimplePie class and BoxOver script. Both scripts are included with nukePIE™.

Since nukePIE™ replaces core PHP-Nuke functions, it requires modifications to PHP scripts (namely, mainfile.php).

TegoNuke(tm) Approve Membership Lite 1.1.0

Montego Scripts has updated the Approve Membership Lite hack for use with the latest release of RavenNuke(tm) 2.2.0 (aka: 2.20.00). This hack provides a way to force approval of new user registrations (as well as can even auto-approve).

SimplePie 1.1 released

Although further testing needs to be completed, initial tests show that the new SimplePie 1.1 release appears to work with nukePIE without modifications. This release adds a few fixes for issues that have not been reported with nukePIE and additional functionality that nukePIE does not currently use.

If you wish to update SimplePie, simply replace includes/SimplePie/simplepie.inc with the file from the 1.1 release.

There's a new version (2.5) of FCKeditor. The kses class also has a user-contributed update (Aug 18, 2007). Should we switch from kses to HTML Purifier (or some other tool) for HTML filtering? The answers to these questions are a definitive...maybe.
